Messi10 is an upcoming Cirque du Soleil touring production. Messi10 is a collaborative project between Cirque du Soleil, PopArt Music (who previously worked with Cirque on Séptimo Día: No Descansaré), and Sony Music.[1] Messi10 will be based on Argentinean professional football player Leo Messi. Messi10 will premiere at Parc del Forum, in Barcelona, ES. Messi10 dates in Buenos Aires were cancelled in 2020 due the Covid-19 pandemic. [1]

Messi10 is the story of an ambitious young man overcoming any obstacle to become the best "number 10" in the world. Messi10 will be loosely based on Leo Messi's life.[1]

Messi10 Challenge[]
Alongside the premiere of Messi10, a 2500 square meter (26,909 sq ft.) interactive experience called the Messi10 Challenge will be located next to the show's site. The Messi10 Challenge will contain interactive activities such as dribbling, goal kicking, nutmeg an opponent (kick, roll, or pass the ball between the opponent's legs), and answering trivia about Messi to rack up points to be crowned "Messi of the Day" and to win a exclusive experience during the show. There will also be a VR experience showing memorable moments from Leo Messi’s career.[1]
Filmography[]
MessiCirque is a feature-length documentary chronicling the creation of Messi10. MessiCirque will premiere on November 21, 2019 exclusively on the video-on-demand streaming service RakutenTV.[5]
