Axel was an ice skating arena-touring Cirque du Soleil production. Axel was written and director by Fernand Rainville. Axel was the second ice-skating themed show after the 2017 show Crystal.[1] Axel premiered on October 4th, 2019 in Cornwall, ON. Axel's final performance was on August 23, 2020.
Premise[]
Axel follows a young man and his dynamic group friends with a passion for live music and graphic arts come to life. During his adventure, Axel falls for a character love interest named Lei.[1]
